- Wash and soak the dal for an hour. Drain water completely and grind the dal into the thick batter of pouring consistency. Add salt cumin seed and mix well.
- Grate tofu. Finely chop green chilies, onion and tomatoes. Mix the tofu with green chilies, onion tomatoes and salt. Keep aside.
- Heat pan, spread 1/3 cup of batter and make a pancake 4-5 inches in diameter. Spread about 2tbsp tofu mixture on the pan cake. Allow the chilla to turn golden brown and roll the pancake. Serve hot with green chutney.
